Now, would it be fair that Giles decides to leave the Spector strings and choirs out, as a remixing decision?

IMO, no (and this coming from someone who thinks those overdubs were a mistake). Those overdubs are part of the album they are supposed to commemorate. The remix should be recognisable in relation to the original album, just with updated sound and different stereo layout (I would find acceptable that the Spector overdubs are reduced in level, for example, as long as they are still there). However, that wouldn\'t undermine the role of LIB Naked in the history of this project. In fact, I think they should include it in the box set, even if it\'s in a Blu-ray. And it would be a perfect occasion to remaster it and remove the NR that plagues it. Actually, we already have Yellow Submarine Songtrack, with the four songs (and then some!) remixed.
